PASA appoints two new Directors

PASA today announced the appointment of two new Board Directors.

The new appointments will energise PASA and bring new skill sets and enthusiasm to deliver against our strategy and support the pensions industry by representing the importance and visibility of administration to stakeholders at all levels. Their strong profiles, plus their extensive and varied experiences will make them invaluable assets to our team.”

David Fairs, PASA Board Director, said: “The pensions administration landscape is in a time of great change and opportunity with new regulation and initiatives underway. PASA has played a huge role in providing administrators with the Guidance and tools needed to prepare for the future. There’s work to be done in elevating the profile of pensions administration and I’m proud to be taking on this role and look forward to being part of the future development of PASA.”

Fairs is a Partner at LCP, an Honorary Professor at Durham University Business School, Chairman of Nuffield Trust Research Project on CDC, Ambassador for Included, Governor at the Pensions Policy Institute and Chairman of Sarcoma UK’s Genomics Development Board. A qualified actuary, David has over 40 years industry experience having previously held a key positions in KPMG, past Chairman of the Association of Consulting Actuaries and as Executive Director for Regulatory Policy, Analysis and Advice at The Pensions Regulator.

Hawkins has over 25 years’ experience within the pensions industry. He is Propositions Lead and Global LGBT+ DE&I Lead at Bravura Solutions. Jonathan is an Expert Panel Member on the DWP Small Pots Delivery (technical and administration) Group and a member of the PASA Pot for Life Focus Group. He’s an Accreditation Panel member for EDI Accreditation Ltd and an EPMI member of the PMI. Jonathan has recently spearheaded the development of Bravura’s Pensions Dashboards ISP, and regularly contributes to Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) Working Groups.
